Melanie Gibson is a freelance writer of historical fiction. As an educator for a historic house museum, she researched family life in 18th and 19th century America and wrote monthly newsletters. A member of the ACFW and TMW, she’s a native East Tennessean and proud of her mountain heritage. Forget mint juleps and wicker, she grew up on Coca-Cola and porch swings, and credits all those ghost stories her “Granny” told her when she was little for her love of great storytelling.
Leaving Cheyenne is her first novel.
